In 1983, The Oakwood Historical Society's purpose was revised to expand the Society's ability to receive gifts, endowments, and bequests of historical significance. As an IRS recognized 501(c)3 organization, donation of materials to the society are tax deductible. The society seeks photos, scrapbooks, videos, diaries, and a variety of other materials that will help us tell the story of Oakwood. The society prides itself on the care of its materials.
