Oakwood Historical Society Store

At this time, the historical society cannot accept payments online. Please call or email us, and a society board member will process your order. Items will be hand delivered to residents of Oakwood and the immediate surrounding areas or will be mailed USPS using media mail (books) and standard priority mail (ornaments). To have a publication or ornament mailed to you, please contact the historical society for the total cost.

  • The Place to Live - a reprint of the 1915 advertising book for the Schantz Historical District: 50 pp, $20
     
  • An Oakwood Scrapbook - a collection of articles ranging from the geology of Oakwood to Elizabeth Gardens, from the history of Sugar Camp to home businesses during the Depression:102 pp plus index, $15
     
  • Oakwood: The Far Hills - a history of Oakwood written 1983 celebrating the city's 75th anniversary: 180 pp, chapter notes, and index. (This book is no longer in print. Copies are occasionally available on Amazon and Ebay. Wright Memorial Library and the Dayton Metro Library has copies that can be checked out.) Look for a reprint of this book in 2008 available through the Oakwood Historical Society.
     
  • Featured Oakwood Homes and Buildings in Honor of the 100th Anniversary of Powered Flight (list of featured sites): 46pp, $5
